When Are New Episodes of Supernatural Back?

It’s been a while since I’ve blogged here and it’s about time I changed that.

My lack of blogging isn’t because of lack of love or passion for the topic. Supernatural is one of my favorite shows on TV. I love the Winchesters each week. There’s just only so many hours in the day.
But I’m not going to make excuses. Instead, I’m looking for when the next episode airs.

SupernaturalSeason 11 Episode 19 will air on Wednesday, so not long to wait now. The Chitters will feature a new creature that only attacks every 27 years, so the Winchesters have never faced it before.
It’s quite refreshing, but I hope there’s a focus on Amara or Lucifer in the episode. If I’m honest, there’s something about this season that’s really annoyed me with breaks and standalone episodes. I usually like meta episodes, but only now and then when there is a bigger picture.

Season 1 remains one of my favorite seasons. There episodes were all pretty much standalone ones but that’s the way the season was set out to be. I liked that. The big storyline wasn’t the main focus but just added in now and then. The same applied to Season 2 and 3. From Season 4, the overall storyline took over and if that’s going to happen, there needs to be fewer standalone episodes that just mention the big thing once or twice at the start or the end.

That’s my short rant for the day over with.

I am looking forward to Supernatural returning on Wednesday. Tune in to CW at 9/8c. This is the last break until the Season 11 Finale on May 25.
